Ask HN: What's the best place to look at snow webcams?

Back in the day public webcams were everywhere. Now it's a lot harder to find directories of diverse public cams unless you want to look at ski slopes, it seems. This used to be how my friends and I would spend free periods in computer labs: peeking through cameras pointed out windows and from rooftops around the world.

If I wanted to look at webcams up and down the east coast of the US to see the aftermath of the snow storm, where should I look?

Not snowy on the western front, but worth sharing.

Gorgeous webcams at Yosemite. No snow right now, but beautiful when there are snow or clouds. Webcams are courtesy of Yosemite Conservancy [0]

Half Dome from Ahwahnee Meadow.

There is a layer on windy.com that shows the webcams in that area. Look for areas receiving snow and then turn on the webcam layer.

Here's a bunch from ocean city Maryland: https://oceancitylive.com/
