Feh, fine, as I commented, I did think about my own anecdote. To ELI75 it: I had a chance to interact with Sony's Aibo dog, the salesgirl said if you put your hand in front of it, it will yelp. Same as if you stroke the sensor pad on its back. It took a few tries, it did it, and I was delighed. Then I realized it was just some algorithms responding to input/"seeing" someone's hand with motor movements and an audio file of dog barks, there's no dog there happy to see you...
