It looks like it's written by an indian nationalist who has a massive grudge against the western world (and white people at large? referencing his WIP book "White Empire"), so I could see how that might be controversial.

Loved it. Can understand why it was flagged.

Can't tell if it's sane or deranged, certainly it sounds interesting and it's written in a vivid prose.

It appeared the writer Indrajit Samarajiva is based in Sri Lanka. The article starts off as academic then ended on an anti-Western/America diatribe which could've been omitted.
