"Think deeply?" How about just "come up with something plausible to say that may or may not be true?"

Let's not pretend that when you go into the office 99% of the people you meet there wouldn't do the exact same thing after they "think deeply". There's plenty of bad things to be said here, but the argument that it's not smart enough is really overselling most people around you.

Yeah but at least they can be held responsible down the line.

I don't want to sound too negative, but I will say that this is an extremely optimistic take that doesn't often pan out that way.
