I have produced a flawed document incrementally, not knowing whether I would have time to write more.
From my About:
The purpose of this HN account is to headline my model of self-expanding paranoid delusions. I am dying of cancer and this is likely my last posting -- one of very few -- related to this work.
Simple takeaway: You carry your attention and proximity everywhere with you; if you learn to convert those into "paranoia-related evidence", you will need to explain finding such evidence "everywhere"; this will require creating "paranoia-related hypotheses" of broad or maximal scope, characterizable under categories of super-natural, super-technological, or super-social.
A deeper model could suit people with lived experience and novelists: with much rigamarole I suggest there can be a grid for generating characteristic paranoid reports. The resulting mental model might or might not be useful in reshaping the experience itself (i.e., via reification of categories).
