I think we should let people sell kidneys under the same conditions as we, say, legalize prostitution. Which is, when we have a guaranteed minimum income.
I really don't want to live in a world where the poor have to be the organ banks for the rich--just to survive. If we guaranteed that everybody could have a decent life WITHOUT having to sell their organs, we could experiment with all kinds of things, including an organ market.
