It honestly worries me given the current situation not just in places like India-Pakistan but Nato-Russia or Taiwan. Everyone thinks they can escalate their way out of situations. But you really can't. I wonder what would have happened if the Soviets had not backed down over Cuba. And the lesson everyone seems to have taken from that is never back down...
