Twitter gaming community navigates uncertainty, other platforms stand to benefit (digiday.com)

I’ve been wondering about canaries to watch out for, my initial thought was moderate mainstream journalists (Kara Swisher, Matthew Yglesias) who had talked about how much they value the platform, despite all the problems it had.

I’m not sure how strong a signal this is, but seems like an ominous canary when your platform is too toxic for the gaming community.

The Dems cancel culture will get the final say. I had a feeling once Musk bought twitter they would attack and attempt to shut down / cancel all of twitter, cause “orange man bad”. Dems just can understand the damage controlling speech does.

Twitter is not going to be around forever, and gaming creators have already started actively promoting their presences on alternative channels such as Instagram and Discord in preparation for Twitter's complete meltdown.
