Top notch documentation. Carefully thought out patterns like authentication pipelines. Simple syntax one you learn it. There's lots to like.


I feel like DRF's documentation is a bit lacking, especially when compared to Django's documentation.


Agreed, while the answers are usually in there (somewhere, which is better than most documentation), it can sometimes be quite difficult to find "that page you saw in here once".

I experienced this first hand when I first started doing timed coding interviews and didn't prepare my DRF environment. Rookie mistake for sure, but it really emphasized to me that things can be difficult to find in there unless you know exactly what you're looking for.
