GrapheneOS demands takedown of code from CalyxOS (github.com/aospalliance)

The takedown says that GrapheneOS's code "has not been made available under an open source license", but https://grapheneos.org/source says "GrapheneOS is an open source project", and links to the Open Source Definition. What's going on there exactly?

Why do license issues in the F/OSS world always start with an angry/accusatory github issues post? I don't know what causes this phenomenon, but it amuses me greatly, and I hope it never stops.

(Also, seems like there's more context here from the author of that issue: https://twitter.com/GrapheneOS/status/1455713002980880384 )

This is some expansion of toxic community pissing matches where none of the de-googled AOSP communities can seem to stop shit-talking each other.

It’s like some non-happy ending version of Dr. Seuss’s butter-side-down people. No one appears to remember where the conflict started.
