I really dislike this layout. I find it difficult to scan horizontally and know I’ve seen every element. I would prefer this not be in CSS so that less people choose this layout for their site. There may be legitimate cases for masonry layout being the best layout but I can’t think of a single one. I suspect if Pinterest hadn’t popularized it very few would be asking for it.
