They are both blurry. One is just a bit bolder. Nothing beats HiDPI displays for crisp font displaying imho.

HiDPI displays combined with subpixel renderings for the total win. Unfortunately, that's dead for MacOS today, and for a time, unachievable with Wayland on Linux.
