See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depopulation_of_Diego_Garcia and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diego_Garcia, there's a Wikileaks document about creating a Diego Garcia marine reserve for the purpose of avoiding the return of the Chagossians.

It seems to be faster (starts building faster) and gives progress information make lacks. See http://neugierig.org/software/chromium/notes/2011/02/ninja.h... (for motivation) and https://plus.google.com/108996039294665965197/posts/SfhrFAhR... (for benchmarks). TLDR: Firefox takes 14m to fully build with make and a nop build takes 57.9s, Chrome takes 30m with ninja, but a nop build takes only 0.74s.

With some images of each (which I can't judge for accuracy): http://semiaccurate.com/2011/08/18/intel-moves-transistors-f...

FWIW, PyPy is close to supporting 3.x (for x ~ 2 IIRC): http://morepypy.blogspot.com/2012/04/py3k-status-update-3.ht...

There might be, but yeah, that's not the main reason for searching IMO.

See http://primes.utm.edu/notes/faq/why.html, but it boils down to "something really interesting can be found along the way, primes relate to other important topics so learning about them has intrinsic value, there's some money in it (but you have a 99.9% chance of spending more than the prizes in your search... and you still won't win)".

"What do you want to tell people that no one has ever bothered to ask you?"

"Oh, nothing really..." proceeds to give the best answer in the interview

A bit OT, but has anyone noticed that Twitter seems to have stopped using SPDY? Any information on that?
