I find it incredibly puzzling why Polar is left out of these conversations when it comes to wearable health tech when Polar pioneered a lot of the technology and releases white papers for all their functions.
For example, Garmin has "body battery" which is a pseudo science measure of who knows what and Polar does orthostatic tests (based on HRV). Polar won't even let you do that test with a watch, you need a chest strap because of a lot of similar reasons outlined in this paper
Cloudflare released a feature to block these short of crawlers, even on free tiers. I don't have a need to block crawlers but I'm curious how effective it would be for this case.
I have pain/food logs that uncovered nothing about my migranes. I started keeping a sleep log and discovered that on days I snooze my alarm and go back to sleep I have migranes. It takes some effort, but not "snoozing" my alarms (even 10 minutes) and getting up immediately has cured me of my migranes.
I share this in the event someone suffers this unknowingly.
for keyboard based navigation of web pages I use the "vimium"[1] Firefox add-on. I can highlight every single clickable link on the page with a key combo. Above every highlighted link appears letters that I can type and it'll take me to that link. This has advantages over cycling with Tab bc I can look at any clickable element and click it with 2-3 key strokes.
I mention this bc I've yelled into the void before about not being able to navigate webpages consistently until I stumbled on vimium.
+1. Especially since you drew the comparison yourself to the Pebble watch. Shelling out that much money on a product that might fail is a draw back. Tinkering on this infinitely knowing I could load whatever software is attractive.
Plus I think the Linux crowd would eat up a monitor that lets users bask in the feeling of nostalgia of a terminal with limited color.
I, for one, would love to finally work outside/well lit places using g a terminal and not having to crank my brightness
You should be worried about your logs too :) Dare you to `sudo cat logs.txt`
