Great article btw, really loved to see these kind of numbers, thanks.

Time for a new category? "Slop HN: Claude built this mini tool for me" - would be lol to see the "slop" in the header right in the middle of "show | jobs" -> "show | slop | jobs"

And a lifetime ban if you show slop under 'Show HN'.

We probably just need to cultivate a culture of not upvoting them in the first place.

Or a button to "vote as slop" which would automatically move it from "Show HN" to "Slop HN" :D

Pinball on phone so good

Yes, Goodreads are next in line to fix this. Whenever I want to copy the name of the book from my read list, so I can purchase it, I can't copy??? Wasn't Goodreads made by book lovers for book lovers? Now it seems like a monopoly app that reached the network effects and DOES NOT CARE anymore.

Posts like this are the reason I keep visiting HN, THANK YOU!

Wow! :claps: :claps: :claps:

Love the destination matrix graph!

Any plans on launching on Android, or simply just browser based web version?

Thanks for your interest! The data is used in our iOS game and visualizer.

I might be miscomprehending but that doesn't feel like an answer...

I had the same question, but more generally - is this an American company thing? I can't imagine not wanting to tap the vastly larger android market. Especially for an app like this which could be marketed as a fun English learning game.

Great implementation! I played it on mobile and I scrolled so far and deep that (hopefully) no one will ever overwrite my pixels! Muhahaaaa

Thanks! There's definitely a discoverability problem. Most people just work along the edges. A billion is a long way to scroll! Honestly, I can't even find the stuff I've drawn in the middle.

At some point I should probably add some sort of minimap or something. Will be interesting to see the secret art people hide.

Definitely, minimap would be a great addition to the UX.
