Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. — Matthew 7:7-8, KJV

Have not yet seen a full UI that have not undergone change. But, there are UI elements that have stand the test of time.

The best example I can think of is Letters and Numbers. We have been using them for a long time to communicate and interact with each other.

I feel like seeing more and more post about criticisms for workflow or framework that it is becoming unhealthy with the developer community.

There is always short comings on every tool and library, and part of responsibility of a good developer is discerning trade-offs.

This is fun. It would be awesome if it can piece together the body so that it would not look like floating t-shirt and pants :D

This is interesting to see being used in real world. Still wondering what types of cancer it can detect. Maybe throat cancer, who knows.

I read a few anecdotes that said that nurses who were familiar with cancer patients would subconsciously identify an odor that was associated with them.

Then they would smell it in the wild and be struck with a sudden an anxiety about whether or not they should tell the person to get checked, given the odd nature of the clue.

> the fact that a Swift iOS developer would now need to still learn some Android with Java to write the Android native code for the feature complicates things greatly. Now you need to know three languages to do a feature on your own.

Can't put it more clearly as you have said.

This is like back in the days of doing cross-browser development where there are 3 of them: IE, Chrome(webkit), Firefox.

Thank you. Very educational. Interesting to know that ORDER BY includes significant performance penalty without LIMIT.

This story is fascinating. Computers were designed to be black-and-white. It seems like the automation tool that was in place is not transparent or restrictive that its hard to figure out why that happened to you.

Glad to hear that you are able to continue on your job.
