Not sure I understand the use cases. I'm guessing people want to run unsafe nodejs code. Either cloud providers like for lambdas or on personal computer for AI coding? On cloud why is this better than firecracker, firecrack can run any programming language this is just nodejs so already useless for that use case?

For personal computer, people worried about the spin up time of docker? I think that is more of a tooling issue where you spin up one instance and run multiple jobs.

What am I missing? What are actually real use cases where this would be better?

User lacks permissions to install "apps."

Anyone using this model for something useful? For now I only have use cases for top performing models...

You probably like watching ads because Firefox is only browser you will have a true ad free experience. Unfortunately Firefox is slower than chrome has less support for audio, copy pasting is broken etc. So I use both depending what I am doing.

what prompt are you using?

Don't believe is lie, it is looking like the AI race is gonna be China + regular people verses rich oligarchs. American corporations including NVIDIA are just trying to extract as much money i.e, trying to empowered themselves at the cost of humanity. China is open sourcing their AI and creating their chips based on RISC-V to benefit all humanity.

If you don't have access to massive amounts of digitized books you are at a significant competitive disadvantage i.e, AI + RAG is a game changer for consuming technical content. That last piece of the puzzle I am missing for my setup is being able to digitize the books as markdown + latex for mathematics equations, right now it is just expensive.

I wonder if in the long run countries that ignore copyright end up with some sort of advantage. All copyright restrictions only effect 1) the poor 2) the uneducated

i.e, the ones that would benefit the most from annas-archive.

Dumb why don't say what it is really is, prompt injection. Why hide details from users? A better feature would be context editing and injection. Especially with chat hard to know what context from previous conversations are going in.

But Binance founder doesn't work for Binance anymore so why pardoning founder help Binance?

The current head of binance (and cofounder) is Yi He. Who happens to be in a relationship with CZ and is the mother of his children.

Because it sets a precedent

According to Binance, he owns 90%. Whether he is CEO or not probably doesn't prevent him from influencing Binance operations to support Trump's coin.

what exactly are people doing to run un trusted code? You guys run npm run from docker? Do you have example? Do you use VM? Anyone have examples of their setup?
