I use Yahoo Pipes to filter feeds from reddit. Works pretty well for me.


I don't agree. I'm not a fan of bloated software (i.e. features I don't use, etc.), but one thing that Wordpress and Typepad have going for them is a large user base that helps to uncover bugs like security flaws.

Rolling your own, while a good exercise, will most likely lead to problems.


Eclipse with the PyDev plugin is very nice also. I'm using that on both OS X and Windows.


I'll second PyDev Eclipse. I just started a Python project after not using Python for several years, and have been fairly impressed thus far with PyDev.


PyDev is good, i have been using it since 4 months ago. it has all Eclipse power, awesome texteditor, perspective, view,etc,


Ugh. I think the first sentence of the last paragraph sums up the article best:
