And I just purchased that app yesterday. I'll try and pursue getting a refund from Apple, although I'm not sure how successful I will be in the process. It's aggravating seeing potentially amazing start-up companies get purchased by a large company and then everything they've done seemingly ceases to exist.
Also, how many companies that Google acquires eventually just die off?
I guess it will. I bought Dropbox one morning in a panic when I thought my drive was dying. It turned out to be fine but I've been working out of the directory since then. Thanks.
Wow! Then why release it? There's many other services that do many, if not all of the same things as this. Making us pine for more in a world of copycat apps isn't going to make me stick around. The carrot being dangled here isn't that enticing. This isn't directed at you, just a general rant. I'm not sure why they released this app yet. Unimpressed.
Amazon could carve out the "sub-iPad" tablet market if their $250 price point holds and they release a usable tablet. Look at what happened with the HP firesale.
My Safari crashes so often on iOS5b3 that I'm not even expecting any other app to work properly :(. Now I fully understand why Apple doesn't recommend to use betas on 'production' systems.
