The chemicals aren't being made (sold) by Kodak anymore, but the chemicals are known and if you sat down with a chemical engineer you could brew up another batch. It certainly wouldn't be cheap, but it's not impossible.
Back in 2020, VSCO and Kelly Shane Fuller (same one from [0]) seemed to have figured it out, at least to make a preset. Perhaps if they are willing to put in the effort, they should reach out to them (and not just fall back to developing in B&W).
I am in no way a “car guy” but I’ve always thought that the early to mid 1980s BMWs were beautiful. I don’t have the kind of budget (or garage space) to own a car that isn’t a daily driver, but if I did I think I’d look for a 1980s 3 or 5 series.
My parents owned them as a kid and I have fond memories of them and a 2002. Sadly my parents would not drive me in a tin can aka a 2002. They are rust buckets and I don’t live in an area with snow.
There some 90s ones I was interested in buying for a Covid hobby but things like cork gaskets and no available parts kept me away. E46s are nice and somewhat easier to maintain and parts are plentiful, however they lack the headlight look of past years.
My perception is that many on the right bought into conspiracies about Covid and the Covid vaccines. That led to them consuming more general antivax content, as well as an overall greater distrust of science and medicine in general, who were seen as the enemy.
I think what you mean to say is that you like what doge has claimed to have found so far. Unfortunately it doesn’t hold up to even the slightest scrutiny.
The word evil is a bit overused, but in the case of Stephen Miller it fits like a glove.
I’ve said since the beginning that that saving grace (if there is one) of Trump’s first term was that he was disorganized, and he surrounded himself with people who kept him in check to some degree. People who were willing to tell him that he couldn’t do certain things (prime example: White House legal counsel kept Trump from doing the crazy things that people like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell suggested after he lost the 2020 election).
He’s not going to make that mistake this time, and he’s putting people in power who will do what he wants without question. That’s the scary part of the next four years.
