I live quite far from Stockholm and commute there by train. My office is just outside of the zone.

Most people I know at work own a car, but no one drives to work. Why would they?

Seems like people driving in downtown Stockholm are the kind of people that can afford EVs anyway. (Of course, disabled people etc. But they are also covered by the new rules.)

Do people really go to NK by car?!

Maybe this video about how the Swedish Air Force uses the JAS-39 Gripen helps?

https://youtu.be/eEX8JJ0eXL4 (part of it at around 3m30s)

i² = -1, so it all works out

And, similarly, the 斤 (jīn) is defined as 500g.

Seems a bit overkill with a brand + domain name for every new vulnerability.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice find and all, but I'm really distracted by all the fluff.

That's on you, though. The name doesn't cost anything, but it does make the vulnerability easier to talk about.

I suspect the domain literally cost money...

It cost me $4 to help get the word out on a bug that is being actively exploited right now, stealing valuable property. I am good with that.

Where do you buy a $4 domain?

based on the `whois milksad.info` Domain registrar is Namecheap

Porkbun? I buy under a dollar domains from them frequently

Eh, let the security consultants have their moment. Also it's a great name. "Running bx seed on 3.x versions with a system time of 0.0 always generates the following secret: milk sad wage cup reward..."

we had so much fun trying to figure out the icon!

Milk sad is ok.

“Wage cup reward” is almost poetry …

I try to always add comments to such code that explicitly says exactly that. Something like:

> This is a best effort hack based on X and Y. It might not be 100% correct. Feel free to improve it.

> - Name, 2023-08-05

That sounds like a WONDERFUL practice!

I hate you and I don't need your permission.

How does this work? You have $1000, spend $600. You now have $400. How does the bank allow an overdraft here? Why isn't the transaction rejected?

I guess this is a debit vs credit card thing?

You can have your bank account set to allow overdrafts or reject them.

But even then, it works different if you’re using it at a point of sale with your debit card and a scheduled payment that doesn’t immediately show up as pending.

It’s just a hassle that can easily be avoided by separate joint accounts.

Of course we have a small savings account that takes care overdrafts automatically (with a $12 fee).

Our situation is the same. I think it works well because we are both quite restrictive by nature, so whenever one of us wants to buy something the other often encourages them.

Not sure how it would work with a couple that tends to spend more each month or a situation where one has an expensive hobby and the other doesn't.

Yes! I agree, it'd also be nice if the "select equipment you want to use" instead was "select what you have available".

I'm a noob. I have some stuff. Show me what I can do with it!
