Any idea if any company is planning to create an offer dedicates To .BRAND new gTLDs?

Thy also wrote "use .ONION" domain names instead, right?

ccTLDs are loosers? Not according to their increasing registration figures.

Looser != loser

Ironically a rare correct use of "looser".

Thanks.

It wasn't your use that was correct.

I don't recommend it if infringes any rights. You will always be exposed to loosing your name.

The issue is- trademarks are not universal, country specific. So, which trademark do gTLDs respect? Only US? or even for little countries? Or no ones?

Can we imagine new gTLD Entrepreneurs with a minimum technical knowlege to become their own back-end Registry AND Registry in round 2 of the ICANN new gTLD program?

Registrars.

Come on, don't be so negative.

Didn't mean to be negative, just informative. Try any of the new gTLDs, e.g. "stuffin.space", "rms.sexy" or "abc.xyz", they won't work.

Or for a moderately amusing confirmation of ICANNs assertion that the current model is broken, try to whois microsoft.com, apple.com or google.com (NSFW language).

I think the current plan is to make whois data mandatory for commercial entities, and abolish the current decentralized model, but AFAIK no work has started yet.

Any negativity conveyed is purely by virtue of the grim state of affairs.

Edit: I just checked your profile and you probably know a lot more about the situation than I do. Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong! Your domain "gtld.club" does not work either, by the way :)

How many taxi drivers using domain names ending in ".taxi": any idea?

Come on...give the ICANN (or the next governing body) 20 more years to fix this and we should make it. Internet is only 25 years old and new gTLDs are celebrating their first year of anniversary.

Hasnt' Louis Pouzin invented the Internet?
