I think the important question here is "Why on earth did they choose that registrar, for something so crucial?"

I bet they'll put in for a transfer ASAFP now!

I proposed something very similar (albeit only at a conference, to a select group of people) after the PDFTribute thing..

It's a great idea, and awesome achievement to go from nothing to working site in under 24 hours.

I think the slowest part of the entire process for us (the pdftribute team) was getting the domain registered, and the DNS propagated. Find some way round that bit, and it'll be awesome.

Maybe something along the lines of http://youshallhear.us/PRISM, http://youshallhear.us/ACTA, etc?

Just refer them to the reply of the case Arkell v. Pressdram in 1971.

I found one UX/UI problem so far. There's no button for Guy on Guy. I can't see this appealing to the gay community ;)

Also no "solo guy".

It said 31. I'm 27. Who knows.

I thought "Huh, that looks like Y Combinator Orange" and then had to use Chrome Inspector to see how close it was. (#ff6600 actually)

Now to sell it to Yahoo for $30 Million!

Instead of asking for 2 years of commercial experience, it'd be better to ask for demonstrable proof of experience with the kinds of situations you'd find after 2 years of working commercially.

Knowing how to rebase in git would spring to mind as a useful skill. Or knowing how to run a code review session.

It's an entirely valid point. I know some devs who are 10 years younger than me, and far better in terms of their rails skills.

Finally. I was waiting for that to happen so everyone will go home and move on.

Well, now I'm pretty sure who asked this ridiculous question on Quora: http://www.quora.com/Did-Githubs-hardcore-forking-action-mes...
