I also have an XPS 15 and I hate it. The sharp edge of the keyboard deck is so uncomfortable on my wrists. It also flexes a ton of I move it and will register clicks. And then it gets scorching hot.
I'm glad you like it but I can't wait to get a new laptop someday.
I host a Navidrome music server at home. I can access my personal music collection from anywhere in the world, privately and self-sovereignly and I don't have to decide what music to take with me anymore.
I'm very nostalgic for the iPod days but it's just a bygone era. Us music-lovers and audiophiles have upgraded our game.
I also do, with the substreamer app organizing my music with beets[2]. And it's great, especially with smart playlists[1] concept shamelessly stolen from iTunes (I mean this in a good way).
But for audio books, I did not find an app, that is free, does not crash and supports earphone remote like iPods do (I tested audiobookshelf, smart audiobook player and many many others) :-)
For going to bed or taking a walk I still love my distraction free, remote controllable iPod Nano 7.
Seriously, those shorts are the closest thing to crack (which I've never had) I can imagine. One evening after work I clicked on one and before I knew it 3.5 hours had passed.
Shorts and the like should be regulated as a controlled substance.
You're better than that, I believe in you. Cultivate a deep sense of resistance which can wake you out of sensory takeovers. Shame is powerful, what have you shipped this week?
That's not actually how Nostr works. It is a hub (relay) and spoke (client) architecture where clients can connect and publish to N relays. No ledger and no propagation.
It's happened too many times in general by other companies, or Kagi?
All things said, I think Kagi really as the incentives aligned. I'm not a fan of Kagi but I believe the "business is sound" :) Sure, I also believe there's no need for such a business (an extension or whatever would suffice), but that doesn't really matter here nor there.
I'm glad you like it but I can't wait to get a new laptop someday.
