wget http://site.com/file.flv; ./video2NFO.sh file.flv

how can this happen i wonder

Hard to picture corrupt politicians allowing this to go through.

How does miso make money??

Does anyone have a connection at Netflix, preferably in biz dev or online partnerships of any kind. They make it notoriously hard to get in touch with anyone there, no emails listed, phone call leads to call center support who cant transfer you to anyone worthwhile, no reply from twitter msgs etc..

Lets get some revenues figures in here.

what if I want the word "tv" in my domain...?

I see where you are coming from... What exactly do we say to our Canadian representative if the law dosen't exist here? Do we just ask them to toughen their Extradition policies so if a law does get passed and were liable for anything we don't get sent over (See case of UK guy running a tv site) or do we ask them to call the US and share how Canadians feel?

Ya... I asked my Rep to pass it along to the US-Canada Ambassador if she could. Not sure if that will work, but it can't hurt.

If SOPA/PIPA or something similar passes it will only be a matter of time until it hits the UK and Canada.

does this all work based on picking up key sentences or can it rewrite content as well?

Doesn't seem like like it rewrites content, also seems to often use a sentence as the first one that refers to a previously introduced concept in the article that has no context in the summary.

This doesn't really surprise me as in the time he has been working in ai/ml/nlp I don't think there would have been much time to do more than learn up to and implement some of the current state of the art. The named entity recognition for the keywords seems okay.

I did a bit of reading on summarization during my thesis, enough to know it is a big and difficult problem. I hope he keeps at it, seems like a good start but a long way to go.

I think 30% more is pretty significant. Especially if applied to email, long articles etc.

However, still not sure if it ensures that i wouldn't miss out on anything important which may be fatal if it was an important email.

PLUS it doesnt say if it picks up on emotional context which is super important in interpersonal communications?

wow this is fantastic! thanks for sharing.. bookmarked.
