phones give a massive boon for safety of mind for parents however no options exist on the market that also respect the privacy of the child while offering a simple user experience.
What this article fails to justify is there isn't a simple solution for users to have a "Local Cloud". A NAS or Hard Drive on a computer will be beat by the ability to have all of your photos/software on you wherever you go.
There needs to be a better way for Personal devices to access personal or home networks for personal cloud solutions to become more accessible to the average person.
