Here's my theory: When some people saw that physics could be used to get great power, they decided to keep physics research a secret, in the hands of the few. So, they have been using governments and spies to keep it away from the masses (and hence adversaries). I believe string theory is a result of this.
Unfortunately not and it's worse than you think because with "some people", "they", and "the few" they means Jews. You can look at the post history for the pattern, after which this is pretty obvious. I already emailed about this some time ago but antisemitism is completely fine if you use thinly veiled euphemisms and don't directly insult people, apparently.
Wrong! Oil-rich countries have every incentive to not let it happen, and that is exactly what they have been doing. For example, “but the Uighers” is a propaganda tactic (among others) developed by the current oil countries as an attack to the Chinese solar industry.
Vista, or rather Aero, never looked anything like this. It's glassy and translucent but that's where the similarity ends. The way the translucency itself is used is vastly different.
But also, yes, I agree. It didn't need to make a comeback. And even if it did, since iOS and macOS were already fairly translucent, it didn't need to be like this.
Palentologists are the LLMs in human form. Give them a stick fossil and they will generate a whole story of how everything happened, until another one of these finds a toe, and rewrites everything.
