Has this been addressed directly with the employee? It hardly seems worth firing someone over.

It doesn't sound like he's being fired because he has the data.

Hmm. The left navigation stuff doesn't seem to update.

Read the readme - you need to enable the theme (different than the colour scheme) in your settings file: `"theme": "Cobalt2.sublime-theme"`

Agreed. I'd still like a response from my initial email.

Wow. This is astounding. I happened to meet him and Dave Thomas a year or so ago, and had lunch with them at a Ruby conference. Incredibly nice and funny guy, who was really smart.

I emailed out the last time this was posted, and haven't heard anything back other than "we'll reach out to you soon".

I signed up on the website last month and haven't received a reply either. It would be good to know if it's a yes, a no or a maybe.

Apologies to both of you!

If I haven't gotten back to you, then you're on our waitlist. I've been scheduling interviews with folks on the waitlist as quickly as possible, but we're actually getting applicants faster than I can respond to them. We're working on streamlining the process and are getting faster at it each week.

I had the same experience. I understand if this is hard to do, but from my perspective it would help if I can expect to hear back from you in a few days, a few weeks, or a few months.

Thanks for the reply! I was just curious, so apologies if I sounded rude there.

I think, in theory, this is really neat. One of the things I struggle with when learning something new (especially something more involved), is finding a way to put it into practice.

With that said, I think there could be a bit more description, or perhaps some examples of what I'd actually be signing up for, and how it works.

As a bit of trivium, on Chrome on OSX, auto-fill for the email doesn't work properly, and while small, it might help get a tiny bit higher conversion if that was addressed.

Thanks for your feedback. I'll fix the form in the morning but the conversion rate is pretty excellent at the moment, we're pushing 50% for some traffic sources.

I'll put the examples up also once we launch fully.

I hope you've signed up! I'm looking forward to having you on the course.

I'm interested.

Email sent.

SEEKING WORK – Remote / Washington, DC Metropolitan Area

- I’m a full stack web developer who can take care of your web presence end-to-end, including hosting and system administration, as well as building out your designs.

What I can do for you:

- VPS Setup & Configuration, whether for a web server or otherwise.

- General SysAdmin work.

- PHP / MySQL back-end development (have been using Rails at my day job for 6 months or so, but I’m sure your money would be better used with another Rails developer).

- HTML5 Front-End, with excellent knowledge of best practices, and how to best deal with browser inconsistencies.

- Javascript: Been developing with jQuery since version 1.3, and greatly enjoy using Backbone.js as well. Of course, I can do the same tasks with “raw” Javascript, it’ll just take longer.

- Responsive Design: I’m excellent at converting existing templates into a responsive design to allow for mobile compatibility.

- CSS: Whether it be debugging some wonky IE6 issue, or creating a solid Compass pipeline for you, I’m here to help.

- CMS: I’ve developed several in-house content management systems, as well as doing a large amount of work in Wordpress and (ugh) Joomla.

My major projects: http://wireless.walmart.com, http://wirefly.com, http://www.rcn.com

Feel free to reach out to me at ryandavies@gmail.com

Love it!
