CruxOCM | Multiple Roles | REMOTE (forever) | Calgary (HQ) | https://www.cruxocm.com

CruxOCM provides automation for industrial facilities, directly impacting safety, environmental performance, and operational efficiency. We are a company of ~22 that is growing quickly, and we have an exciting year ahead of us deploying our solution to multiple facilities.

We offer:

- Apply your expertise to deliver real world industrial automation (our product isn't just web apps, ads, or DS just to create nicer reports)

- Enjoy a flexible, "remote-first" environment

- Be a part of a culture of individual responsibility on a cross-functional team that is focused on getting things done

We're looking for individuals who can work on cross-functional teams to deliver results in a remote-first, young org (less process, more "get stuff done"). Open roles:

- Sr. Software Engineer (https://jobs.lever.co/cruxocm/91823eaf-b72f-4e3e-ad1b-fb5761...)

- Product Designer (https://jobs.lever.co/cruxocm/997177e8-8783-4dd5-939a-efae78...)

- Product Manager (https://jobs.lever.co/cruxocm/0da68602-e76f-4395-99c7-81894a...)

- Sales Ops (https://jobs.lever.co/cruxocm/72c18e86-bac3-4725-a80e-e4fff8...)

This is really good insight and reminds me of similar industry norms that often get strong pushback (e.g. OKRs). Often there is solid reasoning behind why and when you'd want to employ these practices. However, enough organizations implement them just because they've seen them used or because there's hype around them. Eventually the poor implementation attracts pushback, but often the naysayers also don't understand the reasoning behind the practice.

I personally didn't understand what these types of questions would accomplish, but your explanation makes sense and it seems like this would be a good tool in the hiring toolkit.
